The eldest son of soccer star David Beckham completely ignored his mother amid a conflict with his parents.
On the 15th (local time), Brooklyn Beckham coldly snubbed Victoria by not mentioning his mother on Mothering Sunday in Britain.
Instead, Brooklyn left a belated birthday message for his mother-in-law, Claudia Peltz. He wrote, "To the best mother-in-law, happy birthday. I love you so much and hope you had the most wonderful day."
He also posted a photo with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and mother-in-law Claudia.
Meanwhile, David Beckham and the three children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, sent Victoria Mothering Sunday greetings.
Brooklyn has been in conflict with his parents since last year. In January he issued a strong statement on social media, indicating he did not want to reconcile with his parents.
He claimed, "For the first time in my life I am speaking up for myself. Throughout my life my parents have controlled the narrative about our family in the media. Recently I have seen firsthand the lengths they will go to, even at the cost of many innocent people's sacrifices, to spread countless lies to the media to protect their image."
Brooklyn also alleged that Victoria tried to interfere with his relationship with his wife, Nicola. He said, "My mum, despite being so excited for Nicola to wear my design, canceled the making of her dress at the last minute and hijacked our first dance at the wedding."
In particular, Brooklyn prohibited David and Victoria Beckham from mentioning him publicly and said he wanted them to communicate only through lawyers.
However, despite their eldest son's 'no contact' demand, on the 4th both David and Victoria Beckham publicly posted messages on social media celebrating Brooklyn's 27th birthday.
