Actor Ju Jihoon is expected to appear in the new drama "Viking."
On the 16th, a spokesperson for Ju Jihoon's agency Blitzway Entertainment told OSEN regarding the "Viking" appearance news raised that morning, "Actor Ju Jihoon is currently positively reviewing appearing in 'Viking'," and issued an official statement.
"Viking" is a work that depicts the alliances and rifts of a chaebol family set against the background of Korea's conglomerates, waging a succession war worth hundreds of billions of won. Among them, Ju Jihoon was offered the role of Han Tae-joon, a man with no regard for blood or tears in pursuit of success and power.
Ju Jihoon has recently been showing a busier schedule than any domestic actor. He appears in ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Climax," which premieres today (the 16th), and the Disney+ original series "The Remarried Empress" is also set to be released.
On top of that, a new season of the Netflix original series "The Trauma Code: Heroes on call" is also being produced. With "Viking" added to that, Ju Jihoon is expected to continue his busy schedule.
The "Viking" side said that with writer Lee Shin-ho in charge of the script, director Cho Sung-hee, who received acclaim for the films "A Werewolf Boy" and "Space Sweepers," is taking the helm and is reportedly hard at work on the script.
