The group BABYMONSTER confirmed a second world tour, larger in scale than before, igniting global popularity once again.
YG Entertainment posted "2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT" on its official blog on the 16th. As previously previewed by general producer Yang Hyun-suk, the outline of the world tour starting in June has been unveiled.
According to the poster released that day, BABYMONSTER will head to six Japanese cities (Kobe·Fukuoka·Yokohama·Chiba·Nagoya·Osaka) starting from Seoul. They also plan to perform on a total of five continents — Asia, North America, Oceania, Europe and South America — with Oceania, Europe and South America included for the first time since their debut.
BABYMONSTER drew 300,000 people with their debut world tour "HELLO MONSTERS," which ran from January last year across 20 cities for 32 shows. Since this world tour will be held on a considerably larger scale compared with before, their rising momentum is expected to steepen further.
Although specific details have not yet been released, global fans are already reacting enthusiastically. Having established an overwhelming presence as live performers during promotions for mini album 2 [WE GO UP], fan concert tours and major year-end stages, expectations are high for the performances they will present on this world tour.
YG said, "Thanks to the support of fans, we are holding a second world tour sooner than expected," and added, "Artists and staff are devoting all their efforts to present a more dynamic, upgraded stage to Monsties (the fandom name) around the world, so we ask for your interest."
BABYMONSTER will release a mini album in May ahead of the world tour in June. The title track is "Choom (CHOOM)," and as general producer Yang Hyun-suk previewed that "it will be an album unlike anything shown before," global fans' expectations are growing.
