Review: This is a review article written after watching the broadcast.
"Monggeul counseling center" singer Lee Hyori expressed honest thoughts about love and showed affection toward Lee Sang Soon.
In the second episode of SBS Special "My heart is monggeulmonggeul counseling center," which aired on the 15th, scenes were shown of the "Monggeul" participants who finished their first blind dates talking about love and relationships with the counseling center directors, the couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon. That day, Lee Hyori delivered a so-called "introduction to the study of love" lecture, offering warm advice for cast members with little dating experience.
First, Yoon Ji-hoon, when asked for his blind date review, said, "The blind date was good. I'm thinking of meeting again," and confessed, "I was a little disappointed that the woman left first in the middle." He then honestly said, "The jajangmyeon I ate alone was delicious, but eating alone was a little lonely." He added, "You have to say something honestly." To this, Lee Hyori laughed and said, "That's the best. We can't speak honestly," and when Yoon Ji-hoon said, "Try speaking honestly," Lee Hyori replied, "Yes, ask everything. Let's all speak honestly," lightening the mood and drawing laughter.
Then Oh Ji-hyun also recalled her blind date partner, national team swimmer Lee In-guk, and shyly said, "He was so handsome. It felt like I was hit by 15 arrows of love," making everyone laugh. However, regarding the blind date ending in about 50 minutes, she expressed regret, saying the partner seemed nervous.
Lee Hyori also brought up her own dating story. She revealed, "We also met on a blind date," recalling her first meeting with Lee Sang Soon. Hearing this, Yoon Ji-hoon looked at the two and said, "You met well," and Lee Hyori, momentarily at a loss for words, burst into laughter and responded, "You're still my nemesis, Ji-hoon," turning the scene into a sea of laughter.
When asked if the two had ever fought, she answered honestly, "Yes." Lee Hyori confessed, "In fact, on the first day of the blind date, we didn't like each other and it wasn't great," and said, "We didn't see each other for a year after the blind date, and a year later we met by chance and became lovers." She went on to encourage the cast, saying, "Even if you don't like someone at the blind date, it can be fine later."
That day Oh Ji-hyun also asked, "Is it true that when you fall in love you only see that person?" Lee Hyori paused to think and honestly replied, "No. You do notice more attractive people," momentarily making Lee Sang Soon nervous. But Lee Hyori soon added, "There may be people who are attractive to the eye, but only Lee Sang Soon is attractive to my heart," and Lee Sang Soon beamed when he heard that. When Lee Sang Soon jokingly asked, "Are you holding back?" Lee Hyori emphasized again, "There may be many people attractive to the eye, but only one person is attractive to the heart." Watching this, Oh Ji-hyun said with envy, "She's a total romantic."
When asked what love is, Lee Hyori gave her own definition. She said, "It's hard to explain love in words," and added, "When you start to like someone, you keep thinking about them even when you lie down to sleep. Even when you eat something delicious, you think, 'This person would like this too.'" Lee Hyori concluded, "I think that's love," and warmly encouraged them, "You will soon meet someone like that."
