The new KBS 1TV daily drama Joyful days for us, set to premiere on the 30th (directed by Lee Jae-sang, written by Nam Seon-hye), is a romantic family drama created by multiple generations who each want to become "the protagonist of my life," featuring a life-or-death tug of war between the world's most perfect man and a scatterbrained woman.
Joyful days for us is a work that brings together director Lee Jae-sang, recognized for warm and meticulous directing in Once Again and Father Is Strange, and writer Nam Seon-hye, who showed trendy writing in Suzy-matched Us and Amor Fati — Love now, and it has been receiving hot interest even before its first broadcast.
The second teaser released today (the 16th) amusingly depicts the uproarious farce involving Yoon Jong-hoon, Eom Hyun-kyung, Jung Yoon and Yoon Da-young, eliciting laughter.
The released video opens with Jo Eun-ae (played by Eom Hyun-kyung) shouting, "Give me back my child." Go Gyeol (played by Yoon Jong-hoon) hurriedly leaves to avoid her during a protest, and the copy "my life was stolen whole" is added, provoking curiosity about what kind of story connects Go Gyeol and Jo Eun-ae.
Meanwhile, Go Min-ho (played by Jung Yoon) creates tension by telling Jo Eun-ae, "There will be no agreement or leniency," as if driving a nail into the situation. His cynical attitude is brief: in the next scene, Go Min-ho is doused with water by Seo Seung-ri (played by Yoon Da-young), delivering a comic reversal.
