Actor Ku Sung-hwan opened up about his feelings for the first time after parting with his pet dog Kkot-bun.
On the 16th, a new video titled "Bury memories in your heart and let go of regrets." was released on the YouTube channel "Kkot-bun (with Ku Sung-hwan)."
That day, Ku Sung-hwan appeared against an exotic city backdrop and said, "I turned on the video in a strange place, so I really wanted to show you this place," and opened up by saying, "This place is Red Rock in the United States. It's my first time here today, and the sunlight is so nice."
He went on, "When I watch American movies, a killer always comes out in places like this and someone fat like me becomes the first victim. Bears could come out, and it's a place where snakes can live well," and explained, "The U.S. is really vast so cell phones don't get reception. It says service unavailable."
Stopping his steps in one place, Ku Sung-hwan lamented, "Many people wondered how I was doing, but it's probably all the same. In life there are good days and bad days. I buried it in my heart and left it there. For about two weeks I almost died."
He added, "But in my own way I walk a lot, and walk again, see many good things, think good thoughts, think pleasant thoughts, and try to live happily," and said, "I've fallen for the charm of walking these days. I love walking. I walk four to five, six hours a day. The more I walk, the more good energy I seem to get."
Earlier in February, Ku Sung-hwan posted the sad news on his personal Instagram account, "Even as I write this, I don't want to admit it and can't believe it. My daughter, my sister, my partner Kkot-bun crossed the rainbow bridge on Feb. 14."
Ku Sung-hwan said, "Kkot-bun received so much love that I wanted to say thank you so much for the love given in this life! If I had known she would leave like this, I regret not feeding her more tasty food and taking her on more walks."
He then delivered a final farewell to Kkot-bun, saying, "Kkot-bun, who was so kind and full of charm... thank you, I'm sorry, I love you so so much. Let's definitely meet again someday! Eat lots of tasty things there, play fun with friends, and be happily at play... I really love you so much."
