Interpreter and broadcaster Lee Yoon-jin shared the admirable recent news about her second son.
On the 16th, Lee Yoon-jin posted several photos along with the message, "I would be grateful if he simply readjusts to school after coming back to Seoul, but Da-eul was elected student council president of the whole school," and "So-eul, thank you Da-eul and I love you."
The released photos included Lee Yoon-jin's youngest son Da-eul's poster for running for student council president of the whole school and news of his election. Lee Yoon-jin's son ran for student council president in the first semester this year and was confidently elected, and his rapidly grown, more gallant face caught the eye. Also noticeable was the promotional phrase taken from the title of a past variety show appearance, "The Return of SUPERMAN! a kind and reliable worker that the whole school wants."
Meanwhile, Lee Beom-su and Lee Yoon-jin married in May 2010 and built a happy family with one daughter and one son, but separation rumors surfaced in December 2023. Later, on Feb. 2, two years after the separation rumors, they completed all legal procedures related to their divorce.
At the time, Lee Beom-su's agency Y One Entertainment said on the 6th in an official statement that "Lee Beom-su concluded the legal procedures related to the divorce through an amicable agreement." The agency explained, "After sufficient consultation, mutual misunderstandings were resolved, and moving forward they agreed to respect and support each other in their respective roles as parents of their children."
They added, "During the divorce process some speculative reports and distorted interpretations that differed from the facts spread, and we want to correct that," and emphasized, "Speculative reports related to Lee Beom-su are not true, and the agreement between the parties was reached amicably." They also requested, "Please stop the speculation, criticism and spreading of false information toward Lee Beom-su, Lee Yoon-jin and their family." The agency also asked for "restraint from additional remarks or speculative reporting on the marriage and divorce process" for the sake of the children's stability and privacy.
On the same day, Lee Yoon-jin also directly expressed her feelings through social media. She said, "After ending about 15 years of marriage, I reached an agreed divorce with Lee Beom-su through an amicable agreement," and said, "We resolved misunderstandings that arose from a lack of conversation and communication during the marriage period, and moving forward we agreed to respect and support each other as parents of our children." She added, "Please give warm support to actor Lee Beom-su in his future endeavors."
