The group NEWBEAT wrapped up the first leg of their first nationwide tour in grand fashion and announced a comeback in May.
NEWBEAT (Park Min-seok·Hong Min-seong·Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong·Choi Seo-hyun·Kim Tae-yang·Jo Yoon-hoo·Kim Ri-woo) completed the grand journey of their first nationwide tour concert '2026 Drop the NEWBEAT : NEURO 1000 PROJECT' at the Musinsa Garage in Seoul on the 14th and 15th.
The concert began in Seoul in January and visited Suwon, Daejeon, Daegu and Busan before returning to Seoul to close out the tour, interacting with fans across the country. NEWBEAT performed their debut song 'Flip the Coin', signature tracks 'Look So Good', 'JeLLo(힘숨찐)', 'Cappuccino' and others in succession. They also arranged existing songs into EDM versions to offer fans a variety of performances.
NEWBEAT then revealed upcoming unreleased songs in a variety of unit combinations, showcasing an even broader musical spectrum. In particular, Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong showed fighting spirit by taking the stage despite an ankle injury. They also demonstrated limitless concept versatility through challenging cover medleys such as 'Siren', 'Hero', 'SONOKONG', and 'Burning Up'.
Near the end of the show, NEWBEAT said, "Every moment with NEURO (the fandom name) during the nationwide tour felt like a dream and made us happy," and added, "Thanks to the great love you gave us, we will return having grown even more, so please look forward to it," expressing heartfelt feelings. The concert outro video also surprised the audience by announcing a May comeback, filling the venue with cheers.
The tour was made more meaningful by running the 'Neuro 1000 Project', which involved meeting 1,000 fans in person. With a pledge of donating 10 million won if successful and marching 1,000 km if unsuccessful, the members held various participatory events such as busking and high-five events before and after concerts to communicate closely with fans. Attention is focused on whether NEWBEAT will succeed in their mission.
After successfully completing their first nationwide tour, NEWBEAT plans to step up preparations for a new album with the goal of returning in May.
