<'K-pop Demon Hunters' sincere congratulations on winning two Academy Awards>
I received the joyful news that 'K-pop Demon Hunters' won best animated feature at the Academy Awards and
best original song.
I send a hearty round of applause with the people of the Republic of Korea for this meaningful achievement on the world's prestigious film stage.
I join the people of the Republic of Korea in giving a hearty round of applause.
'K-pop Demon Hunters' is a work that showed culture can cross borders and languages
and connect the hearts of people around the world.
The dynamic energy of K-pop, Korean sensibility and original imagination together
delivered new delight and further expanded the horizons of our culture.
I offer deep thanks to director Maggie Kang and all the production staff who proudly proved the possibilities and potential of Korean culture on the world stage,
and to the composers and producers of "Golden."
You have given unparalleled pride to the Republic of Korea and Koreans around the world.
As the director said in her acceptance remarks, it took a long time for stories in which we are the protagonists to shine at the center of the world.
But based on today's achievement,
the next generation of creators will be able to pursue bigger dreams on wider stages and do so more quickly.
I once again congratulate the people involved in 'K-pop Demon Hunters' who moved audiences beyond Korea to the world.
I will continue to follow and support the new creative journeys you will undertake.
The 'high and new source of culture, the goal and model' that Kim Gu dreamed of
is gradually becoming a reality.
I am truly proud. Thank you
