Broadcaster Jung Ga-eun, who is writing a second act in life by reinventing herself from a taxi driver to an insurance planner, drew attention by candidly sharing her thoughts on remarriage.
Recently, actress Suh You-jung's YouTube channel "Yoojung and Joojung" released content titled "How far can a divorced woman raising her daughter alone go in her escapade?" In this content, Suh You-jung and Jung Ga-eun had an honest conversation.
In particular, Jung Ga-eun drew attention by openly sharing her opinions on remarriage and her ideal type. Suh You-jung asked Jung Ga-eun, "Are you absolutely against someone younger?" and Jung Ga-eun drew the line, saying, "No." Then Suh You-jung asked, "Then what about someone in their 80s? Someone who has 100 billion won."
Jung Ga-eun, while flustered, said, "If they're in their 80s, that's a 30-year difference with me," but when the condition of having 100 billion won in assets was raised she added, "It's not that it would be impossible... It's not the money that's important, but if an elderly person in their 80s likes me, I'd go along with it with a carefree heart."
At the same time, Jung Ga-eun said, "It's a bit much if the difference is too big," indicating she did not pay much attention to age difference. She said she had no problem with someone the same age or older, but she shook her head at the idea of someone younger. Regarding age, she was firm about her ideal type.
Jung Ga-eun, a single mom who has raised her daughter alone since her 2018 divorce, has recently attracted attention by taking on various endeavors in addition to broadcast activities. Last year she mentioned financial hardship and challenged herself to get a taxi driver certification. After obtaining the taxi driver certification, she even met the public by driving herself.
Recently, however, she attracted attention by taking on another certification for a stable future. Previously, Jung Ga-eun said on social media, "Do you remember I challenged the taxi certification last year? I actually drove a taxi, but while doing broadcast work now it's a bit difficult to do both at the same time in reality," adding, "More realistically, I started another course of study that can be pursued alongside my current work to make my future more stable."
Later, Jung Ga-eun announced that she had obtained an insurance planner certification. Jung Ga-eun said, "Actually, the exam preparation period was a time with many schedules, so studying in spare moments wasn't easy, but after accomplishing it I felt very proud. The future always feels a bit uncertain, and it feels like putting a small insurance plan on my future? So I'm very reassured." She was someone who, as a single mom, continued to work hard for a stable future without resting.
