One Time's Song Baek-kyung playfully revealed details while congratulating Shinhwa member Lee Min Woo on his marriage.
On the 16th, Song Baek-kyung posted a long message on his social media along with wedding photos of Lee Min Woo and Lee Ah-mi. The post expressed his congratulations on Lee Min Woo's marriage.
First, Song Baek-kyung wrote, "I debuted in 1998, and after that there was one guy who made me feel a regional connection for the first time, like 'Oh, are you from Jeolla?' and became my friend. That is my friend Min Woo. Min Woo sent a wedding invitation saying he was getting married, but the couple in the photos are so beautiful that I couldn't pass without posting at least one comment."
He went on to congratulate him, saying, "Min Woo, it would hardly be enough even if I went to your wedding and danced in front to celebrate... but because I'm busy making a living and studying, I really can't find the time physically," expressing regret at not attending the wedding.
Song Baek-kyung said, "You share a lot of overlapping traits with me. You know?" and added, "Min Woo, I've long known the breadth of your character, but seen through my eyes and knowing those stories, your wedding is truly so moving. It's also an opportunity to reaffirm your nature of cherishing family... I only wish for you to always be happy," offering heartfelt congratulations.
He then opened up, saying, "I have no intention of returning to the entertainment industry anyway, and I've been busy erasing hollow traces like One Time or Mugadang these days... but I wanted to reveal one thing now before moving on."
Song Baek-kyung teased a playful revelation about Lee Min Woo, saying, "When our schedules overlapped and we met at the broadcasting station and had friendly talks, I always thought we talked on the same level, right? When I talked one-on-one with you, I never stood on tiptoes to match your eye level. That doesn't mean you were ever shorter than me, though."
Song Baek-kyung revealed, "But after the broadcast ended I happened to look up profiles on places like Naver and saw that you're listed at 172 cm and I'm 163 cm. There were times when my ambition was 9 meters taller than yours, but by no means was your height ever more than 9 cm taller than mine," and added, "Congratulations on your marriage. You're my first celebrity friend whom I love," giving a laugh with his height revelation while congratulating Lee Min Woo.
Last year Lee Min Woo announced his marriage to third-generation Korean Japanese Lee Ah-mi, and in December he welcomed a daughter. The couple is scheduled to hold their wedding ceremony on the 29th.
