Jin Se Yun and So E-hyun announced the beginning of a rough yet sweet secret romance.
On the 15th, the KBS 2TV weekend drama Recipe For Love (directed by Han Jun-seo and Bae Eun-hye, written by Park Ji-sook) episode 14 vividly depicted the turbulent story of the Yang family, thrown into confusion by Cha Se-ri (Park Ki Woong)ʼs absence, and the Gong family, which decided to give up moving.
In yesterdayʼs broadcast, Yang Dong-ik (Kim Hyung-mook) was devastated by his wife Cha Se-riʼs disappearance. Gong Jeong-han (Kim Seung-soo), who had been searching angrily for his wife, appeared before Yang Dong-ik and protested that Yang had exposed to Han Seong-mi (Yu Ho-jeong) the secret plan to retract the move. Yang Dong-ik, blaming Gong Jeong-han for reversing the plan, confronted him, and the conflict between the two families escalated to the extreme.
Meanwhile, Cha Se-ri visited a nun at the cathedral with whom she had a past connection to steady her heart. Meanwhile, Yang Dong-ik shed belated tears of regret as he remembered his wifeʼs devotion in quietly handling the familyʼs matters. Yang Hyun-bin (So E-hyun) scolded them, asking if anyone knew the food his stepmother liked, and the family, finally remorseful, each sent their sincere messages to Cha Se-ri by text. Eventually Cha Se-ri, who returned home, responded to the familyʼs surprise apology event and achieved an emotional reunion in tears.
Gong Jeong-han and Han Seong-mi also confirmed their true feelings for each other. Gong Jeong-han confessed his fear of leaving the warmth where he had spent his life and his desire to prove that the hospital was being well managed even without his father at home. Afterwards, the Gong family decisively decided to forgo moving and to have Gong Jeong-han appear on broadcast, bringing the conflict to an end.
Meanwhile, Gong Ju-a (Jin Se Yun) and Yang Hyun-bin, who began dating in earnest, set secret dating rules. They waged a battle over staggered commuting times, keeping an appropriate distance at work, and banning melodramatic looks, but their overly formal behavior only aroused suspicion among those around them and provoked laughter. A strange atmosphere was also detected between Gong Dae-han (Choi Dae-chul) and Yang Dong-suk (Jo Mi-ryung). Yang Dong-suk showed gratitude to Gong Dae-han, who had taken care of her, calling him "a truly good person," and Gong Dae-han, unable to hide his excitement at those words, hinted at the birth of a new romance.
At the end of the broadcast, a shocking clue to Cha Se-riʼs secret was revealed, hinting at a new phase of the story. The baby photo in the frame Cha Se-ri brought from the convent was identical to the photo inside Choi Min-seo (Park Ri-won)ʼs necklace. Earlier, Choi Min-seo made a striking first appearance by rescuing a passerby who had collapsed on the street with Gong Woo-jae, and later reunited with Gong Woo-jae as a part-time worker at the barbecue restaurant where he had gone to look for a job, creating an odd dynamic. As she became intertwined with Cha Se-riʼs hidden past, the unsettling connections surrounding them exploded expectations for the next broadcast.
