Kim Ji-young uploaded a video titled 'Finally revealing the sex… princess or prince? Pregnancy 16–17 weeks vlog' to her YouTube channel on the 14th.
In the video, Kim Ji-young said, "Tonight I am so excited I can't sleep. Tomorrow Pobi's sex will be revealed. If it's a daughter, I'll have a lifelong friend, and if it's a son, I'll experience a first love I've never felt before in the world. A son, that would truly be a first love. I'm curious what kind of love awaits me," she said.
From the very beginning I just had a feeling it was a boy. The excitement is huge. It was a situation where you could know by doing an NIPT test or going to a local clinic at 13–14 weeks, but I held back and waited. Friends said they would do a gender reveal, but because I was curious, I'm going to listen tomorrow.
Finally they arrived at the hospital and had an ultrasound, and the sex was a daughter, and the couple Kim Ji-young and her husband were very happy.
Kim Ji-young's husband said he didn't care whether it was a son or daughter, but he was very happy to hear it was a daughter. Kim Ji-young laughed, saying, "What's with that smile?" and "My husband is looking up videos of daughters going on dates with their dads."
