Group ASTRO Yoon San-ha delivered a moving performance with heartfelt emotion.
Yoon San-ha appeared on KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs' broadcast on the afternoon of the 14th and took the stage for the '30th anniversary memorial special for the late Kim Kwang-seok, part 1.'
That day Yoon San-ha said he had auditioned with the late Kim Kwang-seok's 'Becoming Dust' and revealed he was a 'Kim Kwang-seok kid.' He recalled, "In my fifth year of elementary school at my first audition I played guitar alone and sang 'Becoming Dust.' Thanks to that song I think I was able to come to this position," he recalled.
Before the stage Yoon San-ha confessed honestly, "For me, senior Kim Kwang-seok is a connecting link," and said, "My father played guitar and sang to me a lot. Growing up watching that, I thought 'this is music. I should become a singer too,' and I nurtured that dream."
Choosing 'The story of an elderly couple in their 60s' that day, Yoon San-ha said, "In life there will be moments when you part from someone you love," and added, "Whether it's your parents, a friend or an older brother, I hope it becomes a time to think of each person's precious people. I will sing with all my heart," he said, expressing his aspiration.
In the following performance Yoon San-ha staged a drama-like set with actors. The actors' performances that faithfully captured the lyrics of 'The story of an elderly couple in their 60s,' combined with Yoon San-ha's sweet vocals and deep emotion, completed a touching performance.
In particular, Yoon San-ha's distinctive delicate yet sincere emotion heightened immersion in the stage and left a deep resonance at the scene. The cast who watched the performance poured out praise in lingering remarks such as "It felt like watching a music drama," "It was a stage that made me find my original intent," and "A stage that was unfair from the start."
Meanwhile, Yoon San-ha will hold a small theater concert 'YOON SAN-HA : SANiGHT Project #3 - Promise' at Ewha Womans University ECC Samsung Hall in Seoul on the 21st at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., across two shows.
