Actress Nicole Kidman said she plans to attend the 2026 Met Gala with her daughter, drawing attention.
On the 14th (local time), according to U.S. entertainment outlet Page Six, Kidman recently appeared on a podcast and said she will attend the Met Gala on May 4 with her eldest daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. Kidman said, "This is the third Met Gala I am participating in as co-chair," and said, "I am really happy, and my daughter Sunday will also attend."
Kidman has two children, Sunday (17) and Faith (15), with her former husband Keith Urban. She also has adopted children Bella (33) and Connor (31) from her former husband Tom Cruise.
Kidman said of Sunday in particular, "She really loves fashion," and added, "She recently also appeared on the Dior show stage. She is returning from Paris now."
But Kidman emphasized about her daughter's career, "That's completely her world," and said, "It's really amazing."
Kidman previously served as co-chair of the Met Gala with Anna Wintour in 2003 and 2005. She said she is especially looking forward to meeting another co-chair at this event, Beyoncé.
Venus Williams was also named as a co-chair of the 2026 Met Gala.
Meanwhile, Sunday is rapidly growing as a model. He made her runway debut at the Miu Miu 2025 spring·summer collection show held at Paris Fashion Week in October 2024.
She later participated in brand campaigns and appeared as a Nylon cover model in August 2025, attracting attention. At that time she was photographed wearing a Prada leather skirt suit.
