Actor Shim Hyungtak expressed gratitude toward his wife.

Shim Hyungtak expressed his gratitude to Saya, who settled in Korea after their marriage: "I'm really thankful that she came here.. living in another country isn't easy. Her mindset is 'if it can't be helped, it can't be helped.' She doesn't get stressed. She accepts things and lets them go," he said.
He went on to praise Saya's personality. He said, "I used a designated driver and was making a u-turn in front of the house when the driver caused an accident. I was upset. It was my beloved car I'd driven for 10 years. The front was completely gone and it was smashed. My wife said, 'It's an evil-cleansing incident. Don't worry, something good will happen.' The next day the company contacted me. Two good things happened," explaining Saya's positive nature.
Shim Hyungtak said, "I don't pay much attention to other people's words, but I really listen to my wife's words. I get down on my knees," he said, drawing laughter.<
