'I Live Alone' Kian84 met Junji Ito thanks to Gangnam.
On the 13th broadcast of MBC variety show 'I Live Alone' (hereinafter 'I Live Alone'), Kian84 was shown meeting 'the master of horror manga' Junji Ito together with Gangnam.
On that day, before meeting Junji Ito, who had long been his idol, Kian84 drew a portrait and completed his own kimchi fried rice, attracting attention.
After packing a lovingly prepared lunchbox and the painting, he visited Akihabara, a mecca of animation. Kian84 said, "It felt like I had arrived at the starting point of everything I loved when I was young."
Then, after entering an animation goods store, Kian84 bought four volumes at Junji Ito's work zone and flexed about spending approximately 77,000 won. Jun Hyun-moo marveled, "An author who makes Kian spend money."
After finishing shopping and sitting in a chair, Kian84 said, "I could stay here all day if you told me to," as he looked at Junji Ito's new series. At that moment Gangnam appeared, and the two moved to Junji Ito's company.
Kian84 expressed his gratitude, saying, "Gangnam, I thought you were famous in Japan. But no one knows. Without knowing that, we just went to Junji Ito's company and had a meeting. Junji Ito does not even do outside activities."
Then Code Kunst added to the emotion, saying, "Really, we should be truly grateful to Gangnam hyung; he stayed up and kept calling until 4 a.m."
Meanwhile, the two arrived at Junji Ito's company. Kian84 could not hide his trembling heart. Kian84 said, "It's amazing. I've been to many comic companies in Korea, but I've now visited all the comic companies in Japan."
While waiting for Junji Ito, after entering the conference room, Kian84 said he had even run simulations with a private tutor in advance and practiced by reading a list of questions he had prepared in front of Gangnam.
For a moment, Kian84 showed his nervousness, saying, "My mind is going blank," and, "I'm dizzy, this is a big problem." Seeing this, Code Kunst said, "Imagine if you went alone without Gangnam hyung," and he also appeared nervous.
Gangnam heard Kian84's Japanese skills and said, "They have improved a lot." Then a knock sounded.
Finally, Kian84 met Junji Ito, his long-time idol. With a trembling heart, unable to make eye contact, he greeted him and said, "Meeting you like this feels like a dream," delivering the greeting he had practiced diligently.
