Park Sung-woong and Lee Soo-kyung revealed authentic family chemistry with their three sons in the poster shoot for "Sim Umyeon Yeonriri."
The new KBS2 miniseries "Sim Umyeon Yeonriri," written by Song Jeong-rim and Wang Hye-ji, directed by Choi Yeon-su, and produced by Sim Story, which is scheduled to premiere on the 26th at 9:50 p.m., is a heartwarming, chaotic family reboot drama about the real city family Seong Tae-hoon clan, who suddenly find themselves dropped into the pristine, ruthless(?) area of "Yeonriri," and struggle to return to Seoul.
Behind-the-scenes footage of the poster for "Sim Umyeon Yeonriri," which has been drawing attention for Park Sung-woong's forced return-to-farming story, shows Park Sung-woong (as Seong Tae-hoon), Lee Soo-kyung (as Jo Mi-ryeo), Lee Jinwoo (as Seong Ji-cheon), Seo Yun-hyeok (as Seong Ji-sang) and Yang Woo-hyeok (as Seong Ji-gu) perfectly transformed into their characters. The Seong Tae-hoon family, who look as harmonious as a real family, is already bringing smiles to prospective viewers.
Park Sung-woong, who was suddenly assigned to the rural Yeonriri, skillfully expressed the character's mixed feelings of shock and embarrassment, drawing admiration from the start. In the drama, he lightened the set with playful moments of telling dad jokes to the children. Later, dressed as a farmer, he naturally brought to life detailed actions such as digging, further amplifying the charm of a character who challenges rural life with his family.
Introducing the wardrobe concept by saying "today's concept is city mom," Lee Soo-kyung perfectly embodied Jo Mi-ryeo, a mom with top-notch social skills who turns crises into opportunities once the camera starts rolling. She left commemorative photos with her sons and cared for her three sons attentively, warming the set. Lee Soo-kyung said she was excited that the time to meet viewers seemed to be drawing closer.
Lee Jinwoo, who will play Seong Ji-cheon, the eldest son of Seong Tae-hoon and Jo Mi-ryeo, captured attention with a refreshing smile and warm visuals. Leading the set with an energy that just lifts the mood, he previewed the healing charm that will offer prospective viewers a "mind detox." Meanwhile, Seo Yun-hyeok as the second son Seong Ji-sang, who goes through middle school angst, and Yang Woo-hyeok as the genius youngest son Seong Ji-gu emitted cute charms despite it being their first poster shoot, completing the realistic chemistry of the three brothers.
On the family poster shoot set, the actors gathered closely, exchanging fun quizzes and dad jokes, creating an even more harmonious atmosphere. The actors, who exploded with genuine family chemistry in relaxed poses, spoke in unison, "'Sim Umyeon Yeonriri' is a drama about a family who each chased their own dreams in the city and come down to the countryside to become one again. It contains healing as well as all the joys, sorrows and laughter, so please show a lot of interest," raising anticipation for the broadcast.
Meanwhile, "Sim Umyeon Yeonriri," which will settle into Thursday night prime time, is directed by Choi Yeon-su, who co-directed "Pump Up the Healthy Love," "Crazy Love," and "Chulsapyo," and is co-written by Song Jeong-rim, who wrote "My Merry Marriage" and "The Bride of the Typhoon," and Wang Hye-ji, who wrote "Love Without Romance."
The new KBS2 miniseries "Sim Umyeon Yeonriri" will premiere on the 26th at 9:50 p.m.
