Singer Jay Park stepped in as a childcare helper and faced the risk of being misunderstood as having a "hidden child."
On the 13th, a video titled "What happens when Jay Park meets a 96-day-old newborn" was uploaded to the 'Jay Park C' channel. That day the producer said, "I hope Jay Park would understand how hard it is to work while doing childcare because of various edits and stress," and invited Jay Park to his home.
When Jay Park entered the producer's home, he was taken aback to meet the producer's daughter, Hai, who was 96 days old. The producer left instructions such as "feed formula and burp," "play with her," "take a walk," and "put her down for a nap," and seeing this Jay Park said, "This is harder than the Oscars? How do you take a walk?" seeming at a loss, and scolded, "Hurry up, come out, what are you doing, seriously."
The producer, who revealed himself, handed over a childcare vest and said, "Then take off your clothes first. You might vomit, and your clothes could get dirty." Holding Hai in his arms, Jay Park said, "She's very calm. She's not mine. She's so cute," and when Hai began to fuss he asked, "What if you do this? Is it because she's hungry?" Then while the producer prepared the formula he said, "Coming," and urged, "Hurry up a bit," and the producer asked, "Did you come to see her eyes today?" which drew laughter.
Jay Park fed the formula himself and, watching the fussing Hai, expressed curiosity, saying, "I'm really curious about what she's saying. I want to know." He asked, "She eats a lot. Does she finish all of that?" and the producer said, "She slept all night so she must be very hungry." Jay Park grumbled, "Lucky. I could only sleep two hours before this shoot. You slept through the night," and the producer explained, "At this stage it's just eat, sleep and poop."
Then Jay Park delivered a blunt line, "Even when they grow up it's similar. We're not that different either," which made people laugh. After giving all the formula and moving on to burping, he asked, "Does she usually cry a lot?" and the producer answered, "When she's hungry." Jay Park said, "That's the same for me," and asked, "Do you hope she'll become something?" The producer replied, "I just hope she becomes a healthy and famous person."
Afterward Jay Park changed Hai's clothes and prepared for a walk, and the production staff asked, "Hai will watch this video when she grows up. How should we introduce what kind of uncle this is?" Jay Park said, "Then 20 years from now suddenly, 'Actually it was me. Were you Hai? You've grown so much,'" He also added, "But she doesn't seem to want to go for a walk much. The baby seems to want to eat chicken and ginseng stew? What should I do?" revealing his personal feelings.
Struggling to push the stroller and go out, Jay Park said, "Today everything is all firsts so I'm being careful. I can't go quickly." The manager noted, "Wearing a hat and black clothes makes you look very suspicious," and Jay Park jokingly asked, "Shall I make myself look more suspicious?" as he pulled his padded hoodie over his head, showing suspicious behavior that made everyone laugh.
After finishing the walk and heading back home pushing the stroller, Jay Park encountered a resident in the elevator. He worried about rumors and joked, "This is bad. Now they're coming up. They'll say Jay Park has a hidden child."
After returning home the production staff said, "It went smoothly today," and Jay Park cautioned, "You shouldn't leave your child with a strange person and do this." When asked, "What are your impressions of seeing the baby?" he said, "It was a unique experience," and added, "Grow up healthy. See you in 20 years. I plan to keep doing 'Jay Park C' for 20 years," expressing his ambition.
