Hollywood hot icon Sydney Sweeney (28) has revealed a heartbreaking past hidden behind her perfect figure, drawing attention.
In an interview with Us Weekly on the 12th (local time), Sydney Sweeney said she never felt confident about her body as a child.
She recalled, "By sixth grade my bra size was already 32DD," saying, "At the time I felt no confidence at all, I just wanted to hide (my body)."
What changed the always withdrawn her was HBO's hit series "Euphoria." Sydney Sweeney played the role of "Cassie," delivering bold performances that drew worldwide attention.
She said, "While playing Cassie I began to realize how amazing my body is and how powerful having confidence can be," and emphasized, "We should accept our skin as it is and feel good about it."
The discomfort she experienced because of her physical features led to business inspiration. Sydney Sweeney launched the lingerie brand "SYRN" herself to address the shortcomings of straps that dig into shoulders and existing bras that lack support.
Recently, after revealing a bold photo shoot on the cover of Cosmopolitan, she stood up to criticism that her brand is for "men's gaze." She said, "What could be more feminine than owning your body and acting for yourself," and stated, "This is a process of reclaiming my body and my narrative, and it is meant to empower other women."
Currently Sydney Sweeney is solidly building her career as an actress through works such as the film The Housemaid.
