The group &TEAM released a pre-release of the track "Sakura-iro Yell" (色Yell/サクラ色 Yell) from their Japanese mini album 3 'We on Fire' on the 14th.
"Sakura-iro Yell" is a lyrical ballad that blends piano, strings and flute melodies to evoke the scenery of a spring day with falling cherry blossoms. Its warm melody and lyrics containing the tender message "even if we're far apart, I'll still be on your side" stimulate the listener's sensibilities. Like flower buds blooming, in the season when hope and dreams begin to sprout, the nine members' sweet vocal colors and positive energy send warm encouragement to those facing a new beginning.
This song was produced by Soma Genda and HOHMIE, who have been with &TEAM since its inception. Singer-songwriter Ohashi Chippoke, who has worked with them since their debut album, YUUKI SANO, who participated in &TEAM's "Maybe," "illumination" and "crescent moon's wish," and songwriter Goz Asai also contributed.
The mini album 3 'We on Fire' is a work that embodies &TEAM's strengthened bonds and determination toward new challenges. On the 22nd and 23rd, the album's concept photos and concept clips will be released, and on the 30th the track list will be unveiled. Then on April 3, a track sampler will allow listeners to preview parts of the included songs. On April 13, the title track music video and all songs' audio will be released first, and the album will be released on the 21st of the same month.
Meanwhile, &TEAM officially debuted in Korea last October with "Back to Life" and achieved remarkable results. The Korean debut album sold more than 1 million copies on its first day of release and entered major Billboard charts in the United States, demonstrating a clear presence in the global market beyond Japan.
