Park Shin-yang showed his love for the life of a painter.
On the 14th broadcast of MBN 'Kim Ju-ha's Day & Night' (hereinafter Day & Night), Park Shin-yang grants.
Park Shin-yang is currently active as a painter for the 13th year. Kim Ju-ha asked, "I watched the movie 'Three Days' recently. Before that, you did 'Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho.' You didn't do any projects for about six years."
Park Shin-yang answered, "Mostly I spent my time painting," and said, "I have painted for 13 to 14 years," indicating that he is living more as a painter than as an actor.
Park Shin-yang also explained, "There were many things I experienced while living as an actor, and painting gave me an opportunity to think about them again."
When asked if there was a reason he suddenly became a painter, Park Shin-yang said, "I had never painted, nor did I want to enter the world of art. I didn't know what it was. I never learned it. From the first day I painted, for five, ten years I kept staying up all night. Time just passed until now."
About why he wrote a book, Park Shin-yang said, "Over 13 years many people visited my studio. We talked for nine to ten hours. I bought meals and coffee for them. Two days later what I heard was, 'It's not the thing you painted, is it?' After hearing this for 13 years I thought, 'I can't stand this anymore, really.' So I thought to publish a book about what I was thinking when I painted."
