Band Dragon Pony (Dragon Pony) is establishing itself as a leading proponent of "running music," dominating stages on music shows and festivals at home and abroad.
Dragon Pony (An Taegyu, Pyeon Seonghyeon, Kwon Sehyuk, Go Ganghyun) released their third EP "RUN RUN RUN" on the 10th, and since their comeback they have been drawing attention by performing the title track "Ah everything goes my way!" on major domestic music shows.
The title track "Ah everything goes my way!" is a song that contains the passionate cry of youth who want to live authentically, not by standards set by the world. It delivers powerful energy with a technically graceful guitar riff that leads into a richly arranged instrumental sound.
In particular, based on the positive message "it's all going to work out anyway," Dragon Pony raised listeners' heart rates by unleashing an unstoppable musical sprint over a powerful band sound. Their four members' energetic band performance vividly conveyed the fiery energy of youth, reinforcing the appeal of "running music" that anyone can enjoy, observers said.
Recognized for their stage command that unites audiences with such solid band performances, Dragon Pony has rapidly emerged as an indispensable lineup expected to take festival excitement to the highest level as a "band you can trust to run," nicknamed the "trust-and-run band."
In January, Dragon Pony put on a special stage in Tokyo through the collaboration concert youTopia vol.2 "KAMI WA SAIKORO WO FURANAI X Dragon Pony" in TOKYO, performing together with Japanese band Kami wa Saikoro wo Furanai. They also broadened their standing in the global band scene by appearing for the second consecutive year at the large music festival that represents Taichung, Emerge Fest 2026.
Keeping up their momentum, Dragon Pony will appear starting May 21 at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi, for The Glow 2026, and will consecutively attend Beautiful Mint Life 2026 on May 31 and Sound Planet Festival 2026 on Sept. 5–6. Close interaction with audiences is expected to once again showcase the true value of Dragon Pony's version of "running music."
Meanwhile, Dragon Pony's third EP "RUN RUN RUN" continues the growth narrative of imperfect youth and contains five tracks that combine elements of various genres centered on a traditional rock sound. All members served as the main producers, taking charge of lyrics, composition and arrangements for every track, further solidifying their musical color and identity as a self-producing band.
