Singer Kim Jang Hoon revealed why he had blocked senior Taejin-ah for a while.
On the 14th, the MBN variety show 'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi' aired an episode under the theme 'Yes-man special, why can't I say no?'.
That day Kim Jang Hoon confessed to a difficult experience from being unable to refuse in the past. He said, "I really couldn't refuse before. So life was hard," and said, "I would impulsively grab onto commitments."
He continued, "My current motto these days is to refuse," and shared an anecdote involving senior Taejin-ah. Kim Jang Hoon said, "Taejin-ah hyungnim is a senior I really respect, but after he became president of the singers' association he kept telling me to be vice president."
He said, "I politely refused several times, but he kept proposing it," and "I eventually blocked him. I blocked him for about a year," which surprised the cast.
However, Kim Jang Hoon also expressed gratitude toward his seniors. He said, "Song Daekwan hyungnim and Taejin-ah hyungnim liked me a lot and helped me in both material and emotional ways," and explained, "Still, at the time I had no choice but to do that."
He later recounted the aftermath. Kim Jang Hoon said, "Later a junior contacted me and said, 'Jina hyungnim won't make you vice president, so please unblock him,'" which drew laughter.
