ILLIT produced another 100-million-stream song on the global audio·music streaming platform Spotify.
According to Spotify on the 14th, the track "jellyous" from ILLIT (Yoon-a, Min-ju, Moka, Won-hee, Iroha) mini album 3 'bomb' had been streamed 102,327,19 times as of the 12th. It is ILLIT's seventh song to surpass 100 million streams.
"jellyous" is a dance-pop song characterized by relentless, driving fast beats. The clever lyrics compare feeling jealousy over the unseeable "you" and mixed emotions to mixed jelly, which is charming. While promoting the song, ILLIT drew attention for delivering a tight live performance even while executing hip choreography that required full effort.
The combined cumulative Spotify streams of all songs ILLIT has released so far exceed 2.5 billion. In particular, the debut song "Magnetic" surpassed 700 million streams in about 1 year and 7 months after its release, which is the shortest record among K-pop group debut songs.
