Popera singer Im Hyung-ju revealed that he had done too many free performances because he couldn't say no.
On the 14th, the MBN variety show 'Sokpuli Show Dongchimi' aired a segment titled "YES man special, why can't I say no?" in which the cast members' stories were revealed.
On that broadcast, popera singer Im Hyung-ju announced news of a Seoul solo recital held for the first time in three years. He said, "For the first time in three years, I will hold a solo recital in Seoul," and added, "This time it is a paid spring solo recital, not a free sharing solo recital."
When Im Hyung-ju emphasized that it was a "paid performance," Yoon In-kyung burst into laughter. When Kim Yong Man asked, "Why did you laugh like that?" Yoon In-kyung explained, "Im Hyung-ju has done a lot of free performances."
Yoon In-kyung said, "Because he can't say no, he did a tremendous number of free performances," and Im Hyung-ju also admitted it. He said, "After Kim Jang Hoon, I probably did the most free performances in Korea," which drew laughter.
Next, when Kim Yong Man asked, "Why are you doing a paid performance this time?" Im Hyung-ju replied, "I also have to earn money to donate," earning the cast members' sympathy.
Meanwhile, Im Hyung-ju's spring solo recital will be held on April 10 at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul.<
