Comedian Kim Ji-yu said she fell in love at first sight with Taeyeon's biological older brother.
On the 14th broadcast, tvN 'Amazing Saturday' featured Jeno and Jaemin, who debuted as the NCT JNJM unit, and comedy duo Im Woo-il and Kim Ji-yu as guests.
Recently nicknamed MZ fox for her flirting skills, Kim Ji-yu surprised those around her by saying, "There is someone here I want to confess to." She pointed to Taeyeon as the object of her confession and revealed her strong fandom, saying, "I was so nervous that I slept for an hour and a half."
Kim Ji-yu explained, "Taeyeon unnie is from Jeonju. I am also from Jeonju. So I liked her a lot, and when I was in middle school there was a place in Jeonju called N-Tpia Square where Girls' Generation held a fan signing event. Taeyeon's biological older brother came to that place."
She continued, "I saw the older brother from afar and he was shining. Taeyeon unnie and her brother faced each other and greeted, and I fell in love at first sight. The older brother was famous in Jeonju for being handsome. His name is Kim Ji-woong."
Taeyeon, surprised, asked, "How on earth do you know his name?" Kim Ji-yu said, "I know everything. I liked him. I have a friend who knows Ji-woong oppa and I pleaded, 'Please arrange a meeting just once; I want to greet him,' but the schedules didn't match that day so we couldn't meet," revealing she almost had a blind date.
Shin Dong-yeob asked Taeyeon, "You almost became a sister-in-law," and "Are you still in Jeonju? Are you married?" Taeyeon replied, "I'm unmarried."
Kim Ji-yu added, "I also confirmed that she is unmarried. I've been checking through connections," prompting laughter.
