Actor Moon Geun-young returned to the theater stage after nine years and shared her thoughts after the first performance.
On the 14th, Moon Geun-young posted on her social account, "The Gomsyongkis who give me strength. Thanks to you, I safely completed the first show. I am really very grateful," along with photos.
In the photos, Moon Geun-young revealed a handwritten letter she received from a fan after the play "Orphans." The letter contained the message, "It's so nice to see you on stage after a long time. Always stay healthy and manage your condition well until the final performance so you can finish strong."
Moon Geun-young appeared in the play "Orphans" at Daehangno TOM Theater 1 on the 10th. It has been about nine years since Moon Geun-young last appeared on the theater stage in "Romeo and Juliet."
"Orphans" is set in north Philadelphia and tells the story of middle-aged gangster Harold and orphaned brothers Treat and Phillip becoming a family through their strange cohabitation. Moon Geun-young meets audiences as Treat, who has lived to protect his younger brother Phillip from a harsh world.
Meanwhile, the play "Orphans," in which Moon Geun-young appears, runs for audiences at Daehangno TOM (TOM) Theater 1 through May 31.
