Actor Kim Nam-gil explained an anecdote in which rumors of "fan kidnapping" arose due to an unending fan meeting.
On the 14th, a video titled "100-minute talk is an excuse" was uploaded to the DdeunDdeun channel. That day's video featured the talkative actors Kim Nam-gil and Yoon Kyung-ho and Ju Jihoon as guests talking with Yu Jae-seok.
That day Yu Jae-seok said about Kim Nam-gil, "Our Nam-gil I once saw on 'You Quiz' but even then many people said we had to invite Nam-gil to 'Pinggego'," Kim Nam-gil also said, "I really wanted to come," and Yu Jae-seok noted, "Nam-gil really likes talk; it makes no sense that he wouldn't come to 'Pinggego'," pointing out his 'too much talker' side.
But Kim Nam-gil said, "I'm sorry but actually today I thought I should talk with something like a sketchbook," and declared, "I'm currently practicing silence." Yoon Kyung-ho, greatly bewildered, said, "Did you come with a concept? Is this your first time on Pinggego? It's because it's your first time. I've done it three times including at an awards ceremony, so just be comfortable here," pointing out the 'overreach remark,' which made everyone burst into laughter.
Yu Jae-seok asked, "Why are you practicing silence?" and Kim Nam-gil complained, "I talk so much these days that even my parents are tired." Yoon Kyung-ho asked, "I heard you held a five-hour fan meeting," and Kim Nam-gil expressed his grievance, "People are misunderstanding; it wasn't that I talked so much that it lasted five hours. I actually didn't talk much that day."
Then Yoon Kyung-ho strongly expressed distrust, saying, "That makes no sense." Kim Nam-gil explained, "As it went on, unintentionally I was having fun on stage and didn't realize time was passing, and then it became, 'Has it already become like this? Shall we end today, everyone?'"
Yu Jae-seok asked, "When you said, 'Shall we end, everyone?' how did the fans react?" and Kim Nam-gil said, "At first for an hour or two they said, 'No, we don't want it to end, we want more,' but (after five hours) the reaction became, 'Shall we go home? We have to leave, some have to catch the last train,' and everyone was like, 'You're only asking that now?'" He described the unprecedented atmosphere, "But really we were very free; people were just going to the bathroom back and forth. Those who wanted to leave left. Because people from the provinces have to catch the last train."
He especially revealed, "A mother waiting for her daughter who came to our fan meeting asked, 'Mr. Nam-gil, will you send our daughter home today?' so there were even rumors of fans being kidnapped. But Ju Jihoon saw that and said, 'Hyung, shouldn't you at least feed them?,'" Yoon Kyung-ho shook his head and said, "Five hours is a bit much," and Kim Nam-gil emphasized he wasn't the only one talking for five hours, saying, "It could be misunderstood as five hours, but it's not that I alone spent five hours talking."
Yoon Kyung-ho asked, "How many hours was it planned for at first?" and Kim Nam-gil answered, "Two hours?" Yu Jae-seok said, "Then if you planned two hours, doesn't that mean three hours of talk?" and Yoon Kyung-ho cut in on Yu Jae-seok's remark, saying, "You're piling on excuses that turn two hours into three hours," continuing the talk and adding more laughter.
Feeling a crisis in the struggle for control of the talk, Yu Jae-seok intervened, "Wait a minute...," and Kim Nam-gil warned, "Hyung, you won't be able to host today, will you?" Afterwards Yoon Kyung-ho asked, "Can I eat a sandwich? Can I eat now or should I wait until Jihoon arrives?" and Kim Nam-gil predicted the talk competition, saying, "You can eat when Jihoon arrives. At that time you might not be able to speak." Yu Jae-seok asked, "Are you not going to eat because you might not be able to speak?" and Yoon Kyung-ho explained, "That's not it," which made everyone burst into laughter.
