In the video that day, chef Myung Hyun-ji, who appeared on MBC's Infinite Challenge New York guest special in the past and clashed with Jung jun-ha, becoming known as the 'kimchi pancake master chef,' appeared.
The two also revealed the story of how they became close friends after the broadcast when Jung jun-ha apologized. While talking, chef Myung Hyun-ji brought up a hidden story that happened before Jung jun-ha's wedding.
Myung Hyun-ji said, "We held Jung jun-ha's formal meeting with the bride's family at my house," and added, "There is a story oppa doesn't know. I hadn't told anyone, but before oppa's wedding I talked on the phone with oppa's mother-in-law for two hours," which surprised everyone.
Startled, Jung jun-ha asked again, "Did she ask what kind of person I am?" and Myung Hyun-ji explained, "She didn't call because she thought poorly of oppa; she called because she thought she and I were close to oppa and wanted to know about him."
She added, "She asked what kind of person oppa is," and "She asked me if it would be okay to marry him."
Hearing this, Park Myung Soo joked, "Why didn't you tell her about the kimchi pancake?" which drew laughter. Jung jun-ha then said, "My mother-in-law doesn't know kimchi pancake," causing the scene to burst into laughter.
Myung Hyun-ji said, "So I said, 'I approve,'" and Jung jun-ha said, "You married me off," creating a warm atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Jung jun-ha began his broadcasting career in 1994 on MBC's 'Theme Theater' and later joined MBC's sixth special recruitment class of comedians in 1995. In 2011 he married Japanese wife Yagi Nina and has one son. It is known that his wife's family strongly opposed the marriage at the time. <
