The signal for actor Han Ji-hyun's fresh love story has sounded.
Han Ji-hyun plays Song Ha-young in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama In Your Radiant Season (writer Jo Seong-hee, directors Jeong Sang-hee·Kim Young-jae), showing a distinctive presence as she alternates between charming loveliness and Jukjae-relevant girl-crush traits in just the right places. In particular, Han Ji-hyun's acting, which delicately expresses the character's emotional changes, is being evaluated as raising both the drama's energy and immersion at the same time.
On episodes 5 and 6, it became clear that Yeon Tae-seok (played by Kwon Hyuk) had seeped into Ha-young's heart. Ha-young, who used to tease Tae-seok by making a "beep beep" robot sound, changed 180 degrees as she became conscious of Tae-seok's actions of taking care of her sensitively.
When Ha-young unexpectedly found herself alone with Tae-seok in an elevator, she kept her mouth tightly shut and blinked her big eyes, and as soon as she stepped outside she busied herself fanning her hands as if hot. From Ha-young, who always handled everything with a cheerful disposition and ease, becoming stiff and unable to know what to do, to trembling as if heart-fluttered by Tae-seok holding the door, the fresh feelings of love were fully felt. Han Ji-hyun naturally portrayed the process of gradually being colored by love, adding persuasiveness to the character's emotional changes.
At the end of the episode, while Ha-young and Tae-seok were sharply confronting each other over the introduction of a new material, a situation unfolded in which she learned that he had been moving to realize his idea. Attention is focused on the future story Ha-young will lead after facing Tae-seok's sincerity.
