ILLIT member Wonhee flaunted an exceptional high-note singing ability in the part known as "myeongchang gini."
ILLIT (Yoonah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) met fans on the 14th by opening their first tour, ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥ in SEOUL', at the Ticketlink Live Arena in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Having grown into a girl group representing fifth-generation idols, ILLIT will meet global fans as they embark on their first solo tour two years after their debut. Through 14 shows in seven cities, they are determined to firmly establish themselves not only as a group with strong recorded music but also as live artists with ticket-selling power.
The performance of "Pimple" featured a classroom-themed stage. Yoonah and Moka moved the audience with a letter they delivered to GLEAT, and Minju performed by throwing paper planes. After the stage, Yoonah conveyed emotion again, saying, "It's my heart," and Moka stirred jealousy by telling Minju, who was curious about the letter's contents, "It's a secret."
On the stage for "Almond Chocolate," Wonhee's high notes exploded. Known among fans for the part nicknamed "myeongchang gini," Wonhee said after the performance, "While singing I watched GLEAT's expressions closely, and seeing them cheer while focusing and listening made me work even harder."
Meanwhile, ILLIT's first tour, ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥', begins with Seoul performances on the 14th and 15th and then tours Aichi on June 13 and 14, Osaka on June 20 and 21, Fukuoka on June 29 and 30, Hyogo on July 18 and 19, Tokyo on July 23 and 25 and 26, and concludes in Hong Kong on Aug. 22.
