The group ILLIT shared their thoughts ahead of their first tour.
ILLIT (Yoona, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) will hold their first tour, 'ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥'', on the 14th and 15th at Ticketlink Live Arena in Songpa-gu, Seoul, to meet fans.
ILLIT was formed through the survival program 'R U Next?' and debuted in March 2024 with mini-album 1 'SUPER REAL Me'. With the title track 'Magnetic' they showcased the quirky and lively sensibility of teenage girls, capturing both the public and fandom, and through mini-album 2 'I'LL LIKE YOU' and mini-album 3 'bomb' they solidified their distinctive dreamy and bouncy color. With single 1 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE' as a turning point, they demonstrated their growth as artists by presenting assertive and powerful performances.
Meeting reporters ahead of the performance, ILLIT showed expressions mixed with excitement and nervousness. Yoona said, "I am honored to be able to share this precious beginning. I hope you enjoy our first tour," and Wonhee said, "As this is our first solo concert, we worked to show how we have grown. I hope you see how solidly ILLIT has developed and how many possibilities we have."
Moka pointed out a viewing highlight, "As you can tell from the title 'PRESS START', the concept is games. The structure of clearing game stages is the point, and there will be stages you've never seen before, so I hope you enjoy it." Iroha said, "Through our first solo concert, we focused on showing the various charms of all the members. From cute looks to cool and stylish looks, we'll show a variety, so please look forward to it."
Minju expressed, "I'm happy and excited to hold a solo concert I dreamed of since I was young. We'll show everything we've prepared, so I hope you watch it kindly."
Meanwhile, ILLIT's first tour, 'ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥'', will begin with the Seoul performances on the 14th and 15th, then tour Aichi on June 13 and 14, Osaka on June 20 and 21, Fukuoka on June 29 and 30, Hyogo on July 18 and 19, Tokyo on July 23 and 25 and 26, and conclude in Hong Kong on Aug. 22.
