Actor Lee Sang Yi was moved to tears by a heartfelt gift from a child customer.
On the 13th episode of tvN variety show 'Bogum Magical' that aired on the 13th, the fifth day of the barbershop's business was revealed.
That day's broadcast introduced the story of 12-year-old child customer Dain, who received a haircut at a hair salon for the first time in her life. While receiving the cut, Dain asked Lee Sang Yi, "Please bring the white pouch inside the bag."
Inside the pouch was a gift the child had prepared herself. Dain said, "I made this myself," and handed over a handmade bracelet and a bookmark. The bookmark drew more attention because the names Bogum, Dongyeon and Sang Yi were written on it.
Upon receiving the heartfelt gift, Lee Sang Yi was at a loss for words for a moment and appeared emotional. He said, "Thank you. My unclely feelings are very strange," conveying his emotion.
Later, in an interview with the production team, Lee Sang Yi expressed his honest feelings. He said, "I am an affectionate person, but I tend to give my heart only moderately outside," and added, "Sometimes, when I feel someone's innocence or sincere affection and love, my heart becomes very strange."
He added, "Dain, with an embarrassed expression, said, 'I made one for my uncle too,' which made me very moved and conflicted."
Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yi was born in 1991 and is 34 this year. He continues active acting work across film, drama and musical.<
