"전현무계획3" broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo evoked laughter by recalling a past blind date anecdote.
On the 13th episode of MBN "전현무계획 season 3, Jun Hyun-moo, GwakTube and guest Park Ji-yoon were shown setting out to explore Jeju's popular restaurants.
The three sought out a restaurant said to be known only among Jeju residents. Upon arriving at the establishment, Jun Hyun-moo said, "This place is one that locals know unless you're not a resident," expressing surprise, and Park Ji-yoon introduced the menu, saying, "The dish I chose is the braised geokjuri (cutlassfish), which you can only eat here."
When the mukbang began, Park Ji-yoon said, "Authenticity is important in mukbang. Viewers immediately feel how much you love the food," and added, "It shows in slight tremors or the lines between the eyebrows." She then offered advice fitting a "muk-senbae," saying, "Sometimes Jun Hyun-moo's reactions can be a bit much, but I'll try to manage that emotional line better," which brought laughter.
In response, Jun Hyun-moo said, "Park Ji-yoon and my waist sizes are different," and added, "I was famous for eating a lot even before the concept of mukbang existed. I'm not inferior to Tzuyang," which added to the laughter. Park Ji-yoon also said, "If the YouTube era had existed then, I would have done big-eater content," and revealed, "Until three years ago I ate 50 dumplings. Only after turning forty did I learn what 'full' feels like," which drew surprise. She also boasted an unusual appetite, saying, "At my peak I could easily eat three bowls of ramen."
The conversation naturally turned to Jun Hyun-moo's blind date story. Park Ji-yoon said, "I once set up a blind date for Jun Hyun-moo," bringing up a past anecdote. She said, "We met in Hannam-dong with senior Han Suk-Joon," which embarrassed Jun Hyun-moo.
Surprised by the sudden revelation, Jun Hyun-moo said, "Me? What do you mean," and, to verify the facts, called Han Suk-Joon directly. When Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Hyung, do you remember me going on a blind date with a junior?" Han Suk-Joon also replied, "What did you say?" showing a hazy memory. Eventually both said, "It was more than 10 years ago, so I don't remember well," which drew laughter.
