SBS Special 'My heart is soft and squishy–Monggeul counseling center' (hereafter 'Monggeul counseling center'/directed by Go Hye-rin) is a new challenge from producer Go Hye-rin, who won the Baeksang Arts Awards' best work for 'Hakjeon and the back thing Kim Min-gi,' and is a program that depicts an eight-week journey in which young people with developmental disabilities who dreamed of love but had no chance (hereafter 'Monggeul') receive dating coaching from 'counseling center chief' Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon and set out to find their first love.
Monggeul counseling center,' which sincerely captures the dating and growth of young people with developmental disabilities, rose to No. 7 on Netflix's 'Today's top 10 series in Korea' chart in the show's first week (as of March 12), becoming the center of attention. In a flood of dopamine, the harmless and pure charm of Monggeul and the warm advice of the couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon, who appear as counseling center chiefs, have become a hot topic and spread by word of mouth. Meanwhile, in episode 2 of Monggeul counseling center, which airs on the 15th (Sun), counseling center chief Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon listen to the Monggeul participants' reviews after their first blind dates and offer sincere advice and encouragement. In particular, Lee Hyori draws attention by delivering a 'love lecture' to the Monggeul participants, whose curiosity about love and dating wells up after their first blind dates.
O Ji-hyun, who earned the nickname 'human vitamin' from the first episode for her bright personality and speech, recalls her blind date with national swimmer Lee In-guk and charmingly says, "He was so handsome I was hit by 15 arrows of love," then asks, "Is it true that when you fall in love you can only see that person?"
