The group BTS will begin rehearsals in a separate space ahead of their Gwanghwamun performance.
According to the music industry on the 13th, BTS plans to hold rehearsals in a separate space for the performance to be held at 8 p.m. on the 21st at Gwanghwamun Square. It is a measure taken considering safety and security.
Because this BTS Gwanghwamun performance will be held outdoors, it appears this decision was made considering concerns about leaks of new songs and the concert setlist and the possibility of large crowds.
Meanwhile, BTS will release their fifth full-length album ARIRANG on the 20th and hold a comeback live around Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul at 8 p.m. on the 21st. Hamish Hamilton, who directed the 2012 London Olympic opening ceremony and the U.S. Super Bowl halftime show, will take the director's chair to present a stage fitting for a global event.
The performance will be broadcast live worldwide via Netflix, and about 22,000 audience members are expected to attend offline.
