'믿듣퍼' MONSTA X (MONSTA X: 셔누·민혁·기현·형원·주헌·IM) released concept photos, raising anticipation for their U.S. record.
Starship Entertainment recently released the 'THIRST' version concept photos for MONSTA X's U.S. record Unfold, set for release on April 3, on MONSTA X's official social media accounts.
In the released photos, MONSTA X is shown against an office backdrop, repeatedly writing something on paper and appearing deep in thought. Some members are seen looking through file folders or sitting atop piles of paper while pondering, and scenes showing them sweating expressed a thirst for answers, drawing attention.
In the group shot, the members' intense moods and warm visuals captured attention. At the same time, the disordered space and scattered papers symbolically suggested that they were continually searching and longing for something, increasing curiosity about the new record.
Along with this, a spoiler video containing parts of an inst version presumed to be a track on the album was released, heightening fans' excitement. The dreamy yet rhythmic sound hinted at MONSTA X's diverse musical colors and raised expectations for the full songs.
Unfold is MONSTA X's first official U.S. album in about four years since the release in December 2021 of their second U.S. full-length album, The Dreaming. MONSTA X entered the Billboard 200 at No. 5 with their first U.S. full-length album, All About Luv, released in 2020, and The Dreaming also appeared on the chart for two consecutive weeks, proving their influence. Through Unfold, they are expected to once again solidify their presence in the global music market.
In particular, after previously showing an expanded spectrum with the pre-released tracks baby blue and growing pains, attention is focused on what new narrative MONSTA X will unfold.
MONSTA X opened the door to their full-scale Asia tour by holding 2026 MONSTA X world tour [THE X : NEXUS] in Bangkok at Thunder Dome in Bangkok on the 7th. Continuing their global activities with a concert in Malaysia on the 28th, anticipation among fans worldwide for the new record Unfold is also rising.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X's U.S. record Unfold will be available on global music sites at 12 a.m. on April 3 in each country.
