'Lee Ho-seon's Cider' Lee Ho-seon and Kim Ji-min return equipped with even more cutting stories and more powerful cider solutions.
SBS Plus 'Lee Ho-seon's Cider' features counseling expert Professor Lee Ho-seon and broadcaster Kim Ji-min as two MCs who refreshingly resolve realistic concerns in this talk counseling program. Since its first broadcast on Nov. 29 last year, it has been delivering blunt, direct language and empathetic solutions rather than clichéd consolation or formulaic advice in this "reality-focused cider counseling show."
Returning on the 14th thanks to viewers' explosive response, 'Lee Ho-seon's Cider' will present even more cutting stories and unreserved cider solutions. In particular, it has drawn attention by planning for storytellers to appear in the studio in person to confess more vivid stories.
On the day, Kim Ji-min, who is newly married and living with Kim Jun-Ho, reacts even more strongly than before when she hears stories on the eternal human problem "no-answer mother-in-law that shortens your lifespan." In particular, regarding a story about an in-law family treating their son like a cash source, she frankly admits, "If it were me, I think I would fight with my husband every day."
She continued, "Because I can't fight directly with my in-laws, I think I would end up hating my husband more and more. Then I might even consider divorce," and expressed a hardline stance, "I think I would say, 'Either cut ties with your in-laws and live with me, or let's break up.'"
Professor Lee Ho-seon also turns the set into a sea of laughter with his characteristically cool remarks. When one storyteller said he had been named the best mother-in-law, Lee Ho-seon replied, "If my daughter-in-law said she was uncomfortable, I wouldn't intervene," and added, "I'd keep my distance, and if she still hated it I'd emigrate," which surprised Kim Ji-min. But he immediately followed with a cheerful appeal to his son, saying, "So son, please get married," prompting uproarious laughter.
The production team said, "The harsh stories revealed so far are actually just an appetizer," adding, "Stronger and more realistic stories and Lee Ho-seon's and Kim Ji-min's even more unreserved cider solutions will properly blow away viewers' frustration."
