Actor Jung Eun-Chae expressed gratitude for the support of designer Kim Chung-jae, with whom she is publicly dating.
On the 13th morning at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, a wrap-up interview was held with lead actor Jung Eun-Chae for the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama Honour.
Honour is a hot mystery pursuit about three women lawyers who confront a past that has returned as a massive scandal head-on. Jung Eun-Chae played Kang Shin-jae, head of the law firm L&J(Listen&Join), which specializes in defending victims of sexual crimes.
Honour, which ended on the 10th, closed on a high note by recording its highest-ever viewership rating of 4.7% (Nielsen Korea, nationwide paid households).
When asked about her partner Kim Chung-jae's reaction to the popular work, Jung Eun-Chae said, "He always watches my projects very enjoyably. He probably tuned in live more often than I did. It's always a great support, and since we like to exchange objective opinions about works, he asked a lot about those parts and I heard a lot of honest impressions."
However, they couldn't watch it live together. Jung Eun-Chae said, "This time I was almost always filming, and even now I'm immediately moving into a new project with no gap, so I only received feedback."
She continued, "Overall he really enjoyed the drama, and like many others, he seemed very curious about where the drama's ending would head," adding, "I absolutely didn't tell him. I didn't spoil it for anyone," revealing that she strictly avoided spoilers even with her partner.
In particular, Kim Chung-jae had publicly supported Jung Eun-Chae through Instagram for each of her works. When asked about this, Jung Eun-Chae candidly said, "That's why it's actually hard for me," drawing laughter. She added, "But I'm thankful. There's nothing difficult about it.
