Singer and broadcaster Kangnam revealed his own "married man's hideout" studio.
On the 12th, the YouTube channel Neighborhood Friend Kangnami uploaded a video titled "Kangnami's move that Sanghwa doesn't even know about, full reveal of a married man's secret hideout."
The video that day showed Kangnam unveiling the newly prepared studio space as part of the "series without Sanghwa knowing." Kangnam introduced it as a space that will appear frequently on the channel, saying, "For Sanghwa, for Kangnamkong (subscribers), and for me, I made our own hideout."
Regarding the studio's interior concept, Kangnam explained, "I want to decorate it with a Hawaiian feel. I want to create an atmosphere like an ocean-view café that warms the heart." He added with a laugh, "I hope it's a space where I can freely cook ramen and rest comfortably."
However, when talk turned to appliances and facilities needed for the studio, practical concerns followed. When the production team said that installing a sink could cost about 5,000,000 won, Kangnam reacted embarrassedly, saying, "It's something that has to be done anyway, but it's more shocking than I thought. There's a lot to do," which drew laughs.
Kangnam said, "I want to make a married man's hideout where I can comfortably play games and watch Netflix," and even showed himself bringing items belonging to his wife, Lee Sanghwa, to fill the studio. When the production team worried, "She'll find out," Kangnam laughed and replied, "I'll slowly keep filling it up."
Kangnam said, "This space isn't just for me; it's a studio for everyone to use," and added that he plans to showcase various content here in the future.
