Hot reactions are pouring in over the comeback news of the group CORTIS (CORTIS).
On the 11th (local time), according to global audio·music streaming platform Spotify, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho)'s mini album 2 'GREENGREEN' ranked No. 8 on the 'Countdown Charts Global' (Countdown Charts Global). As of the 12th, the cumulative number of pre-saves surpassed 280,000. The chart aggregates and releases the albums and singles that were pre-saved the most worldwide each week. It is an indicator showing the level of interest from global music fans. It is very unusual for a rookie K-pop group to reach the top 10.
CORTIS previously revealed the lyrics of 'YOUNGCREATORCREW,' which will be included in the new release, on the Hancom typing practice service Hancom Typing's 'Acid Rain' game on the 26th of last month. The nostalgic game and the unusual meeting with a global trend group became a hot topic.
HANCOM said in an official press release on the 12th, "The collaboration with CORTIS led to increased service activity. The 'Acid Rain' game we collaborated on saw plays surge 11-fold compared with usual." CORTIS's mini album 2 'GREENGREEN' will be released on May 4. Ahead of that, the title track's audio will be released first on Apr. 20.
