Singer and actor Hwang Min-hyun shared his thoughts on Wanna One's reunion.
Hwang Min-hyun starred as the first cover star after his discharge on Singles magazine's April issue and on Singles Japan's cover. This pictorial, photographed with flowers symbolizing spring, commemorates Hwang Min-hyun's 15th year since his debut.
Showing a refreshing visual, Hwang Min-hyun candidly opened up about how his daily life has changed since his return. In an exclusive interview to be released together, Hwang Min-hyun honestly shared his thoughts on the Wanna One reality "Wanna One Go," which is scheduled to be released in April. He said, "When I meet the members, it goes back to the old days again. Amazingly, we haven't changed," expressing his feelings about the reunion after seven years.
He also revealed updates on filming season 2 of the drama "Study Group." In response to the director's praise that "Even though you returned after discharge, how are you exactly the same as in season 1?" Hwang Min-hyun laughed, saying, "I thought I was glad I kept myself in shape." After his discharge he lost 6kg through weight training and running, and it was the result of him continuing his acting and singing lessons without stopping.
Hwang Min-hyun said that for future challenging roles he mentioned a Netflix original about a psychopathic killer and expressed, "I always have a righteous image, but I want to try various acting transformations," revealing his ambition.
Hwang Min-hyun also revealed the behind-the-scenes of the digital single "Truth," released last month, saying, "It may have been a long time, but it was only that we couldn't be together; we were always together."
