Top model Han Hye-jin took on a ballet diet challenge.
On the 12th, Han Hye-jin posted a video titled "finally, the top model's return to health management" on her personal YouTube channel. In the video, Han Hye-jin revealed a so-called "rapid gain rapid loss" two-week diet routine to quickly lose weight she had gained during the recent holiday break.
Over the two weeks, Han Hye-jin ran more than 5 km on an empty stomach and spent more than 2 hours and 30 minutes at the gym every day. In the second week, she added a new exercise: ballet.
After enrolling in a ballet academy, she visited a ballet supply store and stocked up on practice shoes and pointe shoes, balletwear, and wrap skirts, showing enthusiasm. Because it was her first attempt, she even bought pointe shoes right away even though they were not immediately necessary.
However, attempting ballet for the first time was brutal. Although Han Hye-jin was trained in strength at the gym, she was surprised during stretching, saying "this is already a crisis," and caused laughter by saying during the first move, "it feels like my limbs are twisting."
Despite that, Han Hye-jin tried pointe shoes after the practice shoes. Despite the instructor's discouragement, who worried "you'll never be able to wear them," she put on the pointe shoes and, seeing her height increase from her original 178 cm while wearing them, exclaimed in surprise, "It's 2 meters."
She said, "My toenails feel like they're going to fall off," yet she managed ballet moves such as plié and relevé and struggled to complete the finale perfectly. This raised expectations for how Han Hye-jin might change in just two weeks.
