Singer Yena (YENA) spent a special time with fans to celebrate her comeback.
Yena held a countdown live to commemorate the release of her fifth mini album 'LOVE CATCHER(러브 캐처)' on the afternoon of the 11th at CGV Apgujeong in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
That day, Yena opened with a humorous skit depicting a journey to find a tail. After greeting fans warmly, Yena took time to introduce the new album, enjoyed viewing concept photos showcasing various charms with fans, and continued pleasant interaction with fans by creating her own nicknames suited to each concept, among other activities.
She then revealed the tracks from 'LOVE CATCHER' in order and shared various stories about the album. In particular, Yena drew attention by personally demonstrating the point choreography for the title track 'Catch Catch.' She introduced the choreography's name as "aegyo bomber," displaying her signature cute and lively charm.
There was also a time to read messages left by the fandom Jigu-mi. Yena answered questions about what love means to her and which photo she liked most from the album with sincerity, communicating even more closely with fans. She then read the messages of support sent to her and expressed gratitude for the fans' love.
Yena said she felt the experience was novel and meaningful because it was her first time renting a movie theater to hold a live with fans. She added that it was an especially special time because she could be with fans in a relaxed atmosphere.
Regarding future plans, she said, "I will continue music show activities for about three weeks and then meet fans on an Asia tour," and added, "I am ready to have fun with Jigu-mi." She also said, "Last year I promised to meet Jigu-mi often, and I feel proud that I will be able to keep that promise," and said, "I wrote a bucket list at the beginning of this year and I have already accomplished three items. I will continue to keep promises with Jigu-mi one by one and run together throughout this year," expressing her affection for fans.
Finally, ahead of the release time at 6 p.m., Yena held a countdown event with fans. Saying she wanted to welcome the release moment together, she waited for the new album's release while chanting numbers with fans, and the scene was filled with excitement and anticipation for the comeback as the countdown live ended warmly.
Opening her comeback activities with fans, Yena will begin active comeback promotions on various music shows starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 12th.
