On April 11 next month, the grand curtain will rise on the 2026 K-TROT GRAND AWARDS at the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Seoul.
The 2026 K-TROT GRAND AWARDS is hosted by Pantix and Concept K Company, organized by MBC Plus, and will later be presented to viewers via the MBC Plus channel. It was planned to fairly and systematically spotlight the most brilliant artists and works of the year based on trot's popular love, established as a "national genre" enjoyed by people of all ages.
It also plans to become a global awards show that solidifies the genre's authority as Korea's representative genre by building an objective evaluation system combining data and expert judging, and presents the potential of K-trot with competitiveness on the world stage.
In particular, the core fan voting will be conducted through the official platforms Mubeat, Celeb Champ, and FanCast, and the battle to put the supported artists on the throne is expected to ignite in earnest.
A performance official from the organizers said, "The biggest point of interest in this awards ceremony is undoubtedly the lineup, which is still shrouded in mystery. Perhaps many artists at the center of the trot craze will have their names listed? We will strive to raise trot's artistic value through different themes and productions for each segment."
Meanwhile, ticket reservations for the 2026 K-TROT GRAND AWARDS will be conducted exclusively through Ticketlink, and ticket sales will begin at 8 p.m. on March 17. Detailed information will be released sequentially through the official website and SNS channels.
