Actor Jeon Jong-seo has confirmed her casting in the occult mystery film "The Rock."
The film "The Rock" is an occult mystery that uncovers the secret of a giant, sacred rock deep in the mountains that is said to "grant wishes if you ask Chung Ha," with the production team from the film Exhuma participating.
Jeon Jong-seo plays Hee-jin, who, prompted by the mysterious death of her younger sister Hee-seon, digs into the mystery that began to consume the family. Hee-jin is a character who approaches the center of the case with cool reason and strong determination, and she is expected to drive the film's tension as she confronts the hidden secrets surrounding the sacred rock.
In this context, Jeon Jong-seo is expected to form a tense confrontational dynamic with shaman Eul-seok, played by Sul Kyung-gu, displaying powerful acting synergy. Having built her own filmography by demonstrating distinctive and densely layered performances in films such as Burning, Collide, and Project Y, Jeon Jong-seo is expected to deliver deep immersion and intense character work in this project as well.
The film "The Rock," which promises a fresh casting combination and a Korean-style occult mystery, raises expectations with the meeting of Sul Kyung-gu, Jeon Jong-seo, and Seo Eun-soo, and will begin full-scale filming, starting principal photography on March 12.
