Han Hye-jin uploaded a video titled "finally, the top model's health management is back" to her personal YouTube channel on the 12th. In the video, Han Hye-jin revealed a so-called two-week "rapid weight gain and loss" diet routine to quickly lose weight she had gained during the recent holiday.
Starting the two-week diet on the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday, she said, "I ate a lot at my parents' home," announcing the start of the diet with a 5 km fast on an empty stomach on a morning with no schedule. Rather than aiming to run exactly 5 km, Han Hye-jin ran more than that and woke up her biological rhythm for fat burning with low-intensity aerobic exercise at about 60-70% of her maximum heart rate.
To relieve stress from exercise she washed the car, and after completing two and a half hours of exercise she relieved stress with delivery food on the way home. Regarding this, Han Hye-jin explained, "People might ask why I eat rice instead of salad when I'm trying to lose weight. But I endured two and a half hours of exercise to eat this." Even when eating a normal meal like that, all she did was wrap seaweed and raw fish with warmed multigrain rice with garlic, chili, and ssamjang.
In particular, Han Hye-jin revealed a routine she changed for dieting. She emphasized, "My long-standing routine had been to exercise, shower, and then eat, but I changed it starting last year. If I shower and then eat, I fall asleep right away. I fall asleep around 9 p.m. and wake up at 3 a.m. hungry. It's the worst. But if I exercise, eat, and then shower, I can avoid a blood sugar spike while showering."
Above all, she said, "My threshold is 58kg. That's a number I must never reach, but that happened. A warning light came on. My neck and shoulders are in such bad shape right now that I'm doing weights casually. What's more frustrating than gaining weight is losing muscle mass. I usually lose some weight and then measure with an InBody, but this time I couldn't avoid measuring InBody first. I can feel my body. I'm ruined," as she steeled herself for the two-week diet.
