Singer Han Hee-jun will change his stage name to 'JUDE' and plans to further solidify his craft as a singer-songwriter.
After changing his stage name to JUDE, Han Hee-jun will release on March 13 a new song and self-composed track titled "The Prodigal Son (돌아온 탕자)" that showcases his musical capabilities and message.
"The Prodigal Son" is a country-pop song notable for its warm sensibility and groovy rhythm, featuring JUDE's distinctive delicate and singular vocal tone and an emotionally compelling voice.
"Mom im coming home. I had waited whole year(엄마, 저 집에 가요. 정말 긴 세월이였죠)" The song, which begins with these lyrics, conveys the meaning that "everyone has a chance to return, and someone waiting is always there," and JUDE delivers comfort and encouragement to listeners by adding lingering resonance to the message with a stronger voice and deeper emotional phrasing than before.
JUDE (Han Hee-jun), who first gained recognition by reaching the top nine on the U.S. audition survival program 'American Idol 11' in 2012, officially debuted as a musician in 2017 after proving his skills on 'K-pop Star 3' in Korea. Since then, he has stood out as a singer-songwriter by participating directly in lyric writing, composition and producing for his own albums, and up to recently has been consistently loved for releasing well-made albums with an increasingly delicate sensibility and deep musical spectrum, including RainDrop, WakeUp, "버뮤다", "사랑in가", and "카르마".
