NEWBEAT Hong Min-seong successfully completed his first solo activity in China.
The group's NEWBEAT (NEWBEAT, Park Min-seok·Hong Min-seong·Jeon Yeo-yeojeong·Choi Seo-hyun·Kim Tae-yang·Jo Yun-hoo·Kim Ri-woo) member Hong Min-seong recently carried out the group's first individual overseas schedule in Yanji, China.
First, Hong Min-seong officially attended the "2026 9th Northeast Asia Ice and Snow Auto·Motorsports Festival" as an ice racing ambassador. He led the atmosphere on site by giving interviews and performing dance despite the cold snap of minus 20℃. In particular, representing male idols as an ambassador, he performed the new song Look So Good and caught the attention of local fans.
In an on-site interview, Hong Min-seong revealed that he is the only licensed driver in the group, showing his special affection for cars. He also continued dynamic activities, including riding as a passenger in a car driven by Yang Tao, a leading figure in China UC Car Raycing, to experience ice racing firsthand.
While serving as an ambassador, Hong Min-seong also participated in the recording of the YouTube web variety show "Suheng Biseo" and showed off his notable comedic sensibility. A teaser video released on the 6th previewed his bumbling adaptation to variety shows, raising global fans' expectations for the full episode.
Next, Hong Min-seong conducted his first solo photo shoot with the Chinese online magazine "Vintage retro street snap." In the March issue released last month, he created a sensuous atmosphere using light and shadow. Word has it that throughout this China schedule, Hong Min-seong drew praise from local officials for his tireless stamina and diligence.
